Jessica Cardenas Second Parcial Project :)

Leonardo da Vinci (Italian, 1452-1519). Last Supper, 1495-98. 460 x 880 cm (15.09 x 28.87 ft.).
Convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie, Milan

Why does it represent the culture of that time:
The Last Supper represent this culture at this time because, religion was a big thing back then. It is from the Renaissance time in which Leonardo Da Vinci painted it. It demonstrates Jesus in the middle having his last supper with his disciples.
Why and what does it represent something you really fond of that time or period:
I believe in Jesus, him being the son of god. So its a close relation to what Jesus did that day with his disciples. I believe it also represents love which i really fond. The disciples seem to be in peace and are giving love to one another awaiting Jesus words.
Why do you like that particular artist that much:
Leonardo Da Vinci in general was a fantastic artist. I like him in particular because, he wasn't just an artist. In a way he dealed with science and the functions of things. He wrote things back words which could only be read with a mirror. He has so many unexplainable work which is fascinating. And not mentioning the fact that he is one very great painter.
Creative work of art recreating the original one:
