why does it represent the history of that time?

We do not know the exactly date when the medal was struck, but since the early christians, those people used to believe in the cross and it represented the faith they had on christ.

In 1880 the monks of montecasino created a renewed medal of saint benedict and they put the letters we can see.

why does it represent the culture of that time?

Because in that time, people were very related to the religion, and the christian religion was pretty important then, maybe because in most countries it was a rule to live under the christian religion, or any other reasons.

why and what does it represent something you really fond at that time of period?

because they were very relligious, and all their believes, hopes, fears, and everything were supported by this.

why do you like that particular artist that much?

I liked this specific medal, because it is interesting how they used it to make exorcisms, plus, shows how strong a faith can be, and how a person can be holy after a life of suffering.
